The pine kernel

Seeds produced from various varieties of umbrella pines or (Pinus Pinea). The kernels are lodged in the pinecone scales. The pine kernel is a noble nut as it grows on terrains that make culture and fertilization difficult also the harvesting is often done by hand. The tree only starts producing nuts after twenty-five years and is only really commercially productive after twenty-seven years.
