Dietetics Characteristics

Rich in fibre, mineral salts (especially magnesium) and vitamins E, B1, B2, B5, C, they contain lots of unsaturated fats.

Focus on the walnut

Franquette

Long, with a pointed head, the shell is hard and wrinkled. Its outer skin has an undeniable taste, ‘A’ top quality nut.

Marbot

Very big, sensitive to spring frost, its shell is relatively fragile and has a tendency to split, which makes it difficult to keep. Its nut has a very fine taste, which makes it a bestseller.

Corne

Hard shell, medium size ovoid shape, extremely hard. The nut is particularly flavoursome, but hard to extract.

Grandjean

Medium size, oblong with a flat base, the nut is easy to extract with an excellent aroma, considered by most as being the best quality.
